Rose Smith from Ludlow Quilt and Sew shows how to make crumb blocks for scrap quilts and a nicely planned quilt top. “Crumbs” are named because of their leftover quality and the fact that they are just little bits of fabrics or blocks, trimmed from other projects.

Very Nice Bag Tutorial
A lot of quilters love bags but they can be a bit intimidating the first time you make one. Lex, of Smarmy Clothes has made one of the best tutorials I’ve ever seen for making a bag. Her techniques can be used for almost any bag pattern.
I love the “Fairytail Coats” and “Mohawk Hats” on her Smarmy Clothes.com website and her blog is a fun read with great peeks at her original clothing.
