Pinning the Layers of a Quilt

I love my KwikKlip and in this video Marie Seroskie of Katie Lane Quilts shows two methods of pinning, both using the KwikKlip. One guide that I use for determining the number of pins to use the the “hand rule” – if you put your hand anywhere on the quilt you should feel at least one pin. That helps determining good spacing and enough pins to prevent puckers in the back while quilting.
