Scrap Crumb Quilt Blocks

Rose Smith from Ludlow Quilt and Sew shows how to make crumb blocks for scrap quilts and a nicely planned quilt top. “Crumbs” are named because of their leftover quality and the fact that they are just little bits of fabrics or blocks, trimmed from other projects.

I’d like to use a quote from this website, but I don’t know the author? Anyway to determine that? It was the definition of “Crumbs”. Thanks. Deanna DeLong

Hi Deanna, I first heard the word “crumbs” applied to quilt blocks by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville. Check out her page about ‘crumbs’ and please feel free to quote from it and attribute it to her. Thanks so much for watching the videos and for asking, Marguerita 🙂

Hi Deanna, thanks for such a cute arrangement. I am going to be making one of these, I have a baby shower coming up in May and this sounds like it will be quick easy and fun. Thanks
