Quilt Binding by Machine

Here’s a little tip that I use when I do the corners of my binding by machine. I use a large pin (corsage pin) to hold the fabric tight at the corner, but you could use a regular straight pin or a stiletto:

Excellent! I can always use more tips on the binding process. I cringe when I look at my earlier works and get tempted to redo them, but, then again, it is fun to look at them and see how much better I am at it now.
Forward progress, no matter how small, is still progress in the right direction.
You are so right Amy! No one is perfect and there is no ‘perfect’ technique, just do what works best for the tools and abilities you have and learn as you go. You should see some of the disasters I’ve created, and I love the quilt just the same
