Binding Odd Angles
Marci Baker of Alicia’s Attic shows very clearly how to miter quilt bindings for odd angles. She’s one of my favorite video makers! She demonstrates the techniques so clearly that I want to go make an unusually shaped quilt, just to try this out

Excellent video!!
Answered questions that have been frustrating for me. Great job on the video.
Very helpful
Thank you very much for showing us how to miter. I always wanted to know how to do it, but have never learned.I wish it was put on like Jenny does so we can print off the instructions. It is easier to follow directions when it is right in front of you. Thanks again for showing how to do it.
Sincerely
Milinda
Marci,
Thank you, thank you! I usually do my best “learning” from books but I would never have gotten this without your video.
Thank you very much for taking the mystery out of odd angle binding. very helpful video
Thank you. These instructions are excellent. Please continue youre
good work.
Marci: I really found your video on Binding and odd angles very helpful. Wish I had had it a year ago when I made a table runner. Thanks also for you wonderful pattern of Tumbling Blocks without a Y seam.
Excellent video. Do you have a video I can purchase? If you do can you send it to Australia?
What an awesome video! The instructions were clear and concise, but most importantly the camera angle was perfect and clear!! So many videos have horrible camera work. Anyway thank you so much!
The pictures and her dialog are fantastic! She makes me feel confidant that I can do those odd angles too.
Would you please put this in print format? A video on the computer in the study doesn’t do me much good when I’m upstairs in my quilt room.
Thanks.
What an excellent video! You made it so easy to understand – thank you.
What a wonderful video! I’m with Milinda, it would really be great if it was written out, then you could look at it as you were sewing. Thanks so much for the video.
Great video for mitering the outside angles. Now, what is the procedure for inside angles such as a Christmas tree skirt with many points and inside angles?
Thanks for the tips. Very well explained & demonstrated. I’m always looking for ways to improve my quilting & make better projects.
I only wished I had seen this video when I was making all those table runners last Christmas. They all had pointed ends that could have used this nice neat binding secret… Thanks!
Marci this is fantastic and I will now know how to do the odd angles!! I am going to try it this afternoon thanks you thank you . Patty

I have been wondering how to bind a table runner that I have just finished. This excellent video has answered my question – thank you so much.
Excellent video! Ah with my pencil, paper and the pause button I have it all down on now. Last fall I finished a braided table runner. It’s been laying on the table waiting for the binding. Thank you so much for your clear directions. You make it look so easy. I will be so happy to get it finished.
Excellent video. Great job. Keep up the great work.
Wow! I learned a great trick; never would have figured that out on my own. Thanks
Thank you for a very clear instructional video. I would like to be able to print it out for future reference.
WOW I wish I would have seen these prior to finishing 7 octogonal center pieces. This would have mede them look so much nicer. Thank you for providing this free of charge.
The clearest directions I have seen on mitering odd angles! Thank you, Marci!
I would like to know what French fold binding is? Are there any instructions available for this way of binding, especially for a table runner with the pointed ends as opposed to square ends? Miriam
Thank you for a great video. It had clear instructions and was easy to follow, now I know how to do my mitered corners the easy way.
Very helpful information. I’m looking forward to using this on my table runner with odd angles.
Thank you for the video on odd angles for binding. I had just finished a table runner and was less than thrilled with my binding. Now I know why.
Roxanne
Thank you so much. I won’t be frightened to tackle these projects again.
Fabulous tutorial. This always had me stumped. Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been struggling for over a week trying to figure out how to miter the binding on some triangular coasters I’m making. Now, I think I have it. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you once more!
Thank you, thank you, thank you and to Jinny Beyer, who mentioned you in her newsletter. I’ve tried other videos but my 60 degree table runner didn’t exactly come out the way I was hoping. After seeing your video I now know how to repair it and make it look exactly the way it should! Thanks again!
MANY THANKS, Marci, for such an informative FREE video. It’s very generous of you to help us all achieve first-class results in our quilting endeavors. You’re the Best!
